Full-Time Roles:
The Administrative Assistant to Building and Grounds/Facilities will assist in the execution of day-to-day tasks such as phone calls, emails, the department and facility calendar, scheduling and planning, maintaining important records and documents, filing, processing department expenses, monitor work requests and act as a liaison between other departments or ministries as directed. Must have strong organization skills, excellent written and verbal communication, detail-oriented, flexible, MS Office & computer experience required, and must have prior work experience in an administrative role. Full-time with benefits, Non-Exempt, 40 hours per week. Some weekend and/or evenings as needed for events.

The Kitchen Manager must have 3-5 years of culinary/cooking experience and kitchen management in a Café/bakery or in a full service moderate volume restaurant. Must have a current Food Manager Certification. Culinary school background a plus. The Kitchen Manager will be a working chef and is responsible for leading and maintaining Back of House operations for all kitchen staff. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team with excellent organizational and time management skills. Must have in-depth knowledge of culinary techniques (i.e., egg cookery, proficient meat cooking techniques such as braising, roasting, & sautéing, keen eye of food presentation, etc.). Additional duties will include hiring, training and scheduling kitchen staff, performing quality control on food plating and temperature, streamlining kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times, maintaining regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is in compliance with safety regulations, and identifying areas of potential waste. Must also have a solid understanding of financial management principles that include maintaining budgeted revenue, cost of goods, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations. Reviews monthly profit and loss statements and assists in addressing variances to support overall Café success.

Full-Time with benefits. Required to work Saturday and Sunday. Weekday hours 7am-3pm (with 2 days off).


Part-Time Roles:
Provide excellent and timely care of the facility. Must be available to work nights and weekends. Non-Exempt.

We are seeking a Campus Administrator who will support the Campus Pastor and Team by ensuring the successful execution of administrative duties in the East Valley Campus! Duties include answering questions during services, assisting Campus Pastor, maintaining campus calendar and schedule, handling paperwork and correspondence, maintaining records, and processing check requests and expenses.

Ideal candidate will have strong organization skills, excellent written and verbal communication, be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and have computer and administrative experience.

Non-Exempt, 10-15 hours per week. Must be available Sundays from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

The Campus Kids Lead will play a vital role in overseeing the recruitment, training, and support of our volunteer leaders to ensure a positive and nurturing environment for families and kids. Key responsibilities include caring and communicating with kids and their families, implementing curriculum and programming, overseeing Shepherd Kids procedures, coordinating SK Fest and D Groups, and being an overall team player who’s willing to jump in as needed to help and support the team!

Non-Exempt, 10–20 hours per week; must be available Sundays from 6:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Our Shepherd Youth Ministry is seeking a dedicated individual to lead and engage with our 9th-11th grade male students, their families, and volunteer leaders. This role will focus on building intentional relationships, providing consistent support, and ensuring a welcoming ministry experience for all students, youth, and their families. You will work closely with the Youth Manager to implement curriculum, create engaging programming, and support our growing Shepherd community.

3-5 years of hands-on ministry experience preferred; strong theological background; excellent communication skills; and comfortable leading and speaking in front of crowds.

Non-Exempt, 22 hours per week. Must be available on Tuesdays 9am-5pm; Wed 1pm-9pm; Sat 5pm-8pm; and Sundays 9:30am-12:30pm.

The TK Lead plays a key role in upholding the mission of Shepherd Kids by leading the efforts in seeing that all TK Kids at Shepherd (and their families) are connected with engaging environments, purposeful programming, and meaningful relationships.

The TK Lead will oversee the recruitment, training, and care of volunteer leaders, implement age-appropriate curriculum and programming in partnership with the Elementary Kids Manager, and ensure adherence to Shepherd Kids policies and procedures. This role requires a heart for ministry, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to leadership.

Qualifications include 2-3 years working in early childhood/elementary; 3-5 years of significant involvement in church; Classroom Management; Strong Communication Skills; and Strong understanding of the Gospel; Theological background a plus.

Non-Exempt, 15 hours per week. Must be available on Saturdays 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm; Sundays 8:00 am - 1:00 pm; Tuesdays 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
